Obtain the Finnish Occupational Safety Card by Completing the Training in English
Occupational Safety Card Course, also known as “Työturvallisuuskorttikoulutus” in Finnish, equips you with essential knowledge about workplace hazards and occupational safety. Its purpose is to enhance safety standards in shared work environments.
Our Occupational Safety Card Course is specifically tailored for individuals working in Finland who do not speak Finnish. It provides a comprehensive understanding of local regulations, guidelines, and practices related to occupational safety, ensuring that language is not a barrier to accessing crucial safety knowledge.
The course is designed to be informative and engaging, delivering practical knowledge to apply immediately to your work environment. The course is conducted online and lasts for 8 hours.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued a Finnish Occupational Safety Card by TTK ry. This personal Occupational Safety Card, valid for 5 years, serves as proof of your competence in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, ensuring a safer working environment for yourself and your colleagues. It demonstrates your commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and showcases your expertise in occupational safety. The card is recognized and valid across all industries, making it applicable to professionals in various fields.
Occupational Safety Card Training Webinar + Exam
The occupational safety card training consists of two parts. First, there is a webinar lasting 7.5 hours. The webinar covers the official occupational safety card material, and as a complementary material, there is individually tailored content for participants.
After the webinar, an online exam will be held. The exam has a duration of 40 minutes. If you do not pass the exam on the first attempt, there is a change for a retake. The exam can be retaken twice, and after that, the card training must be completed again. Before the retake, the most challenging topics will be revisited. Don’t be worried. Everyone has passed the exam. It’s our pride that people actually understands the topic.

To join for the exam click the link from Teams invitation. It will open an exam web page.
After you have opened the link for the occupational safety exam, you can fill in your personal information. From this view you can also change the language from the upper corner (see the picture above).
TIP: Use your personal email address because this will be also you user name for the digital Occupational Safety card.
After filling your personal information it’s time to fill information about employer and your profession. This part is the on which has most questions and problems. Don’t worry because information you fill in here won’t affect to your occupational safety card. All information is used only for collecting statistics.

You are almost done and ready to start the occupational safety exam. Now you need to verify that your information is correct. Please double check that you email is right.

Now you are ready to start the occupational safety exam. Just press the start button. There is certain time when the exam will be open. Usually if you are having a full day course that time is 15.30. Just leave your browser open and wait.
TIP: Sometimes clock in your browser moves a bit slower that time in real world. Just refresh the page if your computers clock is already half past three.
